Mar 15, 2016 · Many devices do not support videos with AC3 or DTS audio, among other codecs. In other words, the video is played but with no sound. The reason for this is that those audio codecs have patents and a commercial license must be paid in order to decode them.
The TV does not support bitstream passthrough and will only send DD+ through ARC. This means you need to connect other DTS devices direct to your AV receiver or Soundbar via HDMI. IT's a shame because I know the KS did support DTS and would play just about any format you sent it.
